    Returns and Exchanges

    We are much obliged to you for visiting www.theconsciouscloset.in and choosing us. Your visit to this site is liable to this Return and Exchange Policy. “The Conscious Closet”, hereafter referred as “We” and you refers to any viewer, customer, any registered customer or any company. We have made a lot of effort to make your conscious outfit reach your doorstep and we want you to love and cherish the product that you bought from us. We have sent you your piece after a post-production check with accuracy. It was then only shipped to you within a secured packaging in the best condition.

    The Conscious Closet offers pieces that are dyed and block printed in natural and azo-free colours. We would like to highlight that these have natural finish, texture, patches and irregularities. Example, in natural dyeing, we can witness uneven colours somewhere and in block printing, we can see spacing in between motifs. As a conscious shopper, you must understand that these are considered as the beauty of natural and artisanal practices. So, we would not accept any return or exchange on this irregularity ground.

    We do not have any cancellations allowed, so if you sent us a mail after making the purchase and payment, we would not be able to cancel the order.

    The outfit pictures seen on the digital platforms/ screens may vary slightly from the actual outfit. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the digital image as colour changes from screen to screen. So, we would not accept any return or exchange on the colour ground.

    However, if you’re still unsatisfied, we provide an exchange for size and return for hampered shipment. We also reserve the right to refuse to exchange and return requests if the customer does not meet our requirements. The cost of couriering the product to our warehouse shall be borne by the customer. TCC will only endure the reshipment expenses made from the brand’s end. 

    The Conscious Closet will take 15-20 working days to dispatch your order and is not responsible for delays in shipping or delivery due to forces outside of our control like weather, strikes, pandemic, festivals etc. Items bought in the sale cannot be returned or exchanged. We aim to make your order reach you well in time.

    Please note we would be unable to accept direct returns and exchanges on items purchased at other offline/ online retail locations or other websites. You may contact the retail location or website from where you have bought it, and they will contact us further, if needed. Purchases made from exhibitions or pop-ups are not eligible for exchanges or returns.

    For returns and exchange, the product should be maintained and stored in a proper manner. Any damage or negligence in the product may result in cancelling your request for exchange/ return. Our company won’t be liable for giving any refund or exchange in such case and we are not responsible for the same.

    In case of product being lost in transit, we will provide you with a new product. This just implies till the time the courier has not been delivered to the address. If, the package is lost after the moment someone has accepted the courier, then we are not liable to offer you a new product.

    We do not offer exchanges and returns on international orders. In case you have any queries, please feel free to contact us at care@theconsciouscloset.in , and we will get back to you at the earliest.

    EXCHANGE

    The Conscious Closet uses a standard size chart mentioned in the description of every product. We advise you to properly go through our size chart and description measurement before placing the order to get your perfect fit.

    However, we will be providing an option of exchange for size, if request is made within 3 days of receiving the product. The customer must send us a mail for the same. Any mail after the period of 3 days would not be valid. We reserve the right to refuse to exchange request that are made after 3 days of grace period after delivery has been made.

    Once our team reverts to your mail with confirmation for sending the outfit back to us for exchange, you will have to send us your purchase back to our address mentioned below.

    Our team will check if the purchase is in good condition, we shall check for any damages, stains or marks, tearing on the product. The garment should not be washed, altered or worn before exchanging. The Exchange will be facilitated subject to intact price tag on the clothes ordered with the original packaging. The product should be in the same condition as sent. Please take a video while unpacking as a token of proof.

    Violation of any of the mentioned things will make us reject your exchange request and we will send the same outfit back to you. However, if the condition is okay then we will send you a mail stating that we are preparing a different size of the same piece within 15-20 working days.

    We do not offer exchanges in colour option, on altered or customized clothes (even shopped in exhibitions), overlays, jackets, one size outfits and on accessories. Items can’t be exchanged for other style or design, only items from the same style/ piece can be exchanged for size.

    RETURN

    The Conscious Closet will only accept return if the garment/ accessories received is in damaged condition because of the packaging. We would be unable to accept returns on any product unless it is damaged. We hold the sole discretion to determine whether refund can be issued. In case you receive damaged package, the video of the unpacking of the same shall be submitted for proof of damage for scrutiny to the brand.

    The customer must send us an e-mail with pictures of the damaged package and the outfit at care@theconsciouscloset.in within 24 hours of receiving the shipment. Post this duration we would not be able to accept the return.

    Once we revert to your e-mail stating to send us your piece back to the address mentioned below, you should ship the package back to us within 48 hours of receiving the mail. Kindly, share the courier/ parcel details with us on our mail. It might take extra time to reach us but the shipment should be initiated within this time. Otherwise, we have the right to refuse your return request and TCC will not be liable to accept your merchandise.

    Once the package is received at the mentioned address, our team will check the package to meet our criteria for return request. The garment should not be washed, altered or worn before returning the piece. Return process will not initiate if the tags are not fully attached and the product must return in the original packaging.

    Return

    Upon approval we offer two options for return, depending upon the customer’s choice. Either the customer can ask for the same piece again in the same colour and style or we can issue a credit note to the customer of the same value. We won’t return any monetary amount.
