PAYMENT POLICY

The Conscious Closet provides free shipping domestically. Our prices shown on website are including GST. However, if you want to know the exact amount of GST included, you can check while proceeding with the payment. Once you get on the payment page, the product price (excluding GST) and GST amount included in that particular outfit/ outfits would be reflected separately.  

The amount mentioned in Rupee on our website are in Indian currency. We have not yet started accepting International orders but we would like to state that Indian prices are different from International prices due to taxes/ duties and different law applicable on the product by countries. So, there might be extra charges for the same. When you login from any other country’s postal location, the price can vary from different zone to zone. 

Moreover, the product prices at retail outlets are only applicable in India, and no product can be sold for Indian prices outside India. Our official website prices may vary from other retail websites/ outlets.

Check thoroughly, and then click on the payment option to make the final payment. We accept these mentioned modes of payment – Credit Card, Debit Card, and Net–Banking.

Our website would be using “RazorPay” as the website payment gateway service provider for the transactions taking place online. The service provider charge some commission % on the MRP and depending upon the mode of payment. This charge has to be borne by the customer apart from the MRP and we do not take any responsibility for it. We would not be liable to return that amount charged from you.

CARD AUTHORIZATION

If there is any problem occurring while initiating transaction from your end or there is problem with confirmation from bank or payment gateway, please contact us at care@theconsciouscloset.in and we will get back to you in time. It may occur due to issue in bank’s server or any other technical faults. If your payment is turned down, you will hear from us.

ORDER & SHIPPING PROCESS

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email from our end. Orders would be dispatched within 15-20 working days from the date of placing the order. Once we dispatch your order, we will send you the shipping confirmation email and courier service will send you a SMS with tracking details, which can be used by your end. However, we cannot guarantee the shipment time as it depends on factors like city, festivals, national holidays, weather, etc. International shipments will take more time.

BILLING

The Maximum Retail Price (MRP) mentioned on our website is the Maximum price for the said product. However, other retail outlets (online/offline) may have a different pricing for the said product. We offer Free delivery so, we would not charge for the shipping fare. You can initiate the payment online with the mode of payments available. However, we do not offer Cash On Delivery (COD) option for online order. Once, the payment and billing is done, we will send you a confirmation mail.

There would not be any extra charges for special destination delivery places as we offer free shipping. However, MRP shall be inclusive of the average tax rate charged on us for state and local tax rates where the order is being shipped. MRP will also include the Goods and Service Tax (GST). The Conscious Closet reserves the right to collect taxes charged that has incurred on addition to the normal taxes that a customer has to bear.

SHIPPING AND PROCESSING FEE

We provide “Free Shipping” domestically. We include the packaging fee in the cost, without including the shipment handling fee. The MRP includes the GST charge and the international orders will include other taxes as well.

The only time you have to pay for shipping is cost incurred while sending a product back to our warehouse for exchange or return. This cost would be borne by the customer and we will bear the reshipment cost incurred.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

We try to deliver the best quality in the best condition but still in some cases, when needed we provide exchange and returns. We offer exchange for the same style size on request made within 3 days of receiving the product. We accept refunds in case you receive damaged products while transportation or other means are notified within 24 hours of receiving the product. We can either provide you with another piece of the same product or give you a credit note of the same value. For more details, please visit our Return and Exchange Policy.

Return

Upon approval we offer two options for return, depending upon the customer’s choice. Either the customer can ask for the same piece again in the same colour and style or we can issue a credit note to the customer of the same value. We won’t return any monetary amount.

WEAR AND TEAR

At “The Conscious Closet”, our products deals in natural dyeing and printing, azo-free dyeing and printing, eco printing, natural fabrics and handwoven fabrics. No two same style can be exactly same. So, expect a slight variations, colour change and natural shrinkage in the garments, as they are bound to happen with time and will not be subjected to rejection. We also don’t hold any responsibility for the wear and tear caused by time and usage, rough washes or high temperature ironing.

GRIEVANCE AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

The policies are meant to make our consumer understand the terms of the website and it interprets the legal relations between The Conscious Closet and “You”, and this is governed and observed by the Indian laws. In case of any dispute or grievances you have with us can be addressed to the “Customer Care” by mailing us at care@theconsciouscloset.in and it shall be answered within 72 hours from the date of the grievance. We will get back to you at earliest with the consumer dispute forum, you can fill it up, state your issue and we will get back to you with a solution for the same. Once we receive the filled forum, we will look into it, ask for some evidence. We will try our best to solve it within 2 weeks from the day we receive your filled forum.
